Dr. Amber Harbin-Gibbons is a public school science educator from central Arkansas. Throughout her career, she has championed scientific literacy and educational equity, striving to ensure that all students, regardless of their background, have access to meaningful and high-quality learning experiences.

Amber is a strong advocate for environmental education and is passionate about teaching others how human actions shape the environment. Her experience includes work in science education, gifted and talented programs, and teacher professional development. She collaborates with education leaders to create engaging, inclusive programs that help all learners thrive.

She also has deep roots in environmental service—she’s a former Peace Corps volunteer, Girl Scout camp director, program coordinator, and proud tent-dweller for three summers. Amber brings the same energy to her hobbies, which include gardening, research, sewing, exploring nature, and, above all, perfecting the art of the nap.
