Receive training in Project Learning Tree’s award-winning Early Childhood curriculum. PLT’s Trees & Me targets educators of kids ages 3-6.
Each participant will receive an activity guide along with an accompanying music CD containing over 130 hands-on, interdisciplinary experiences for young learners. Activities meet the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) criteria for curriculum and the Head Start Child Outcomes Framework.
Join us for this fun, hands-on and interactive workshop to learn how to implement these activities into your own classrooms, afterschool programs, and camps.
Participants must stay for the full 3-hours to receive the activity guide and professional development credit. Qualifies for 3 hours of ADE PD and Arkansas PDR Credit

Three quarters of the world’s flowering plants and trees depend on pollinators to reproduce. Some scientists estimate that one out of every three bites of food we eat exists because of animal pollinators like bees, butterflies, moths, birds, bats, beetles, and other insects.
Join Arkansas PLT for this fun, interactive and educational 2-day workshop focusing on Arkansas’s pollinators and pollinator habitat. Participants will learn about Arkansas bees and butterflies and the habitats they need to survive and prosper.
Registration is limited to 20. Social distancing and State and CDC guidelines will be followed where applicable. Overnight single-occupancy lodging is included.
There is no registration fee but you must pre-register for the workshop. Participants will receive 12 hours PD credit, lunch both days, overnight lodging on Monday, educational materials, and resources to take back to their classrooms and educational programs.

Join Arkansas PLT for this fun, interactive and educational 2-day workshop focusing on the benefits of prescribed fire.
With recent wildfires ravaging portions of the West and the debate on forest management to control fuel loads – now is an opportune time to learn more about the benefits and uses of prescribed fire in Arkansas.
Participants will learn about forest management, fire weather, habitat restoration, creating a burn plan, tools of the trade, and – if conditions allow – observe a controlled burn.
Registration is limited to 25 participants. Overnight lodging will NOT be provided. Social distancing and CDC guidelines will be followed where applicable.

Join Arkansas PLT for this fun, interactive and educational 2-day workshop focusing on the role forests play in watershed protection. Workshop will include forestland tours highlighting sustainable
forestry practices and a tour of Central Arkansas Water’s water treatment facility.
