Are you an environmental education leader, supervisor, or manager charged with hiring and supervision of a team? Join HR expert, author, and speaker, Rita Sever, of Supervision Matters, to explore how equity practices can influence hiring, recruitment and organizational culture. Following Rita’s presentation, participants will have the opportunity to discuss practices and challenges with other EE leaders.

Meet the Speaker:
Rita Sever, founder of Supervision Matters is a Certified organizational coach and has worked in human resources for over 25 years. Rita has served as an HR Director, received her M.A. in Organizational Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, and worked as a coach in organizations and with individuals for over 20 years. Through all her work she sees the tremendous impact of supervision – both positive and negative. Rita brings her understanding and experience of human resources, organizational psychology, and nonprofit systems to her work. Rita works primarily with nonprofit organizations, and she’s a part of the RoadMap Consulting Network, a national group of consultants committed to strengthening organizations and advancing social justice. Rita is the author two books including: Supervision Matters: 100 Bite-Sized Ideas to Transform You and Your Team and Leading for Justice: Supervision, HR, and Culture.
Cost: AEEA members can register at the member rate of $20. General public can register for $30.
