Arkansas PLT will be hosting a unique PD opportunity this fall on a special topic featuring Project Learning Tree’s Together for Birds and Project WILD’s Flying WILD Activity Guides – just in time for National Bird Day celebrated on October 11.

Fee: $30 workshop only or $80 workshop plus lodging on 4/15
Qualifies for 8 hours of ADE-approved PD credit
This one-day professional development workshop features field birding sessions, a guided walking tour of Warren Prairie Natural Area, hands-on activities, and presentations by birding and habitat specialists. Participants will explore Project Learning Tree’s Together for Birds curriculum, developed in collaboration with the American Bird Conservancy (ABC). The workshop offers practical classroom and outdoor field investigation experiences focused on bird biology, conservation, and habitat. Activities are designed for grades K–8 but are easily adaptable for older students.
