Grant Williams has grown sustainability initiatives at Goodwill Industries of Arkansas since starting there in December 2022. He finished his masters in Biology in May 2023 from the University of Central Arkansas. While there, he founded the Green Bear Coalition, a student-led, progress-oriented, sustainability organization. Under his direction the GBC cultivated a seed to seed educational garden that teaches people about the necessary changes our food system needs to become sustainable while empowering students to utilize the fresh vegetables. Creating resilient systems through intentional design is Grant’s ideal work. In his free time he farms, studies regenerative farming practices, and climbs rocks with his friends.
