Join the Arkansas Forestry Association Education Foundation, the Arkansas Environmental Education Association, and Arkansas Tech University College of Business and Economic Development for the 3rd annual Green Careers Expo.

Green jobs represent one of the fastest-growing and changing segments of the global economy. At the same time, today’s youth are seeking rewarding careers that help us move towards more sustainable lifestyles and greener economies. The next generation wants to work with purpose. They want to find a job they can be proud of; they want to feel like they are making a difference in the world.

A collaboration between the Arkansas Forestry Association Education Foundation, the Arkansas Environmental Education Association, and Arkansas Tech University College of Business and Economic Development – we invite your school to participate in this one-day interactive student event focusing on Green Careers.

Students and teachers will have the opportunity to interact with exhibitors from state/federal/local agencies, businesses, corporations, and organizations to learn about professions that exist in the environmental, natural resources, and conservation fields. Read more about last year’s event at UAM – College of Forestry, Agriculture and Nat Resources posted on LinkedIn

This event is for 8th-12th grade students and educators. In addition to hands-on exhibit tables, and one-on-one conversations, there will also be the opportunity to attend 20-minute presentations by some of the exhibitors in the auditorium in Doc Bryan Building.
