Terrius Bruce is a dedicated environmental educator and sustainability advocate with a focus on community-driven initiatives. He is a dedicated father and adaptive community leader. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Dynamics at the University of Arkansas and serves as the Executive Director of Rhythmic Alliance for Community Sustainability. With over six years of farming experience around the world, Terrius has led new farmers in Florida, Ghana, and currently Arkansas, where he works with K-12 scholars to develop their Agri-STEM curriculum and controlled environmental agriculture farm. Terrius also brings expertise in community resilience, green infrastructure, and sustainable food systems. His commitment to environmental education and outreach is further demonstrated by his authorship of The Young Garden King, a children’s book addressing food insecurity through urban agriculture. Terrius is eager to bring his diverse experiences and innovative approaches to the AEEA Board of Directors to support environmental literacy, foster community engagement, and expand access to sustainable resources across Arkansas. His work includes establishing demonstration farms to strengthen local and regional food systems and integrating environmental storytelling through GIS Story Maps to empower communities.
