July 20 & 21, 2021

Description:

AEEA’s EE Expo will be virtual this summer, and we are very excited about the speakers and topics to be covered.  This year’s theme is ‘Engaging in Your Environment,’ where we will focus on citizen science (also called community science) projects in Arkansas.

Registration is now open and details can be found on our EE Expo page.

Community science involves individuals of all ages in authentic scientific research. This allows researchers to gather data across a broader region and a longer time frame than they might otherwise be able to without the help of volunteers.  Thousands of community science projects exist around the world.  They cover a variety of topics; across seasons; inside or outside; at home, at school, at a library.  Join us in learning more about the projects in Arkansas, how to use them with your classroom or community group, and how these projects benefit our communities.  Together we can make a difference!

We hope to see you there, and we look forward to the days of gathering in person again!
