5th Annual Green Career Expo
A collaboration between the Arkansas Forestry Association Education Foundation and the Arkansas Environmental Education Association, we invite you to participate in this one-day interactive free student event focusing on Green Careers.
Wednesday, October 28, 2026
UA Community College
Batesville, Arkansas
Teachers
Make plans for your 8-12th grade students to join us for the 5th annual Green Careers expo in Batesville this October. Students and teachers will have the opportunity to interact with exhibitors from local, state, and federal agencies, businesses, industries, and organizations to learn about professions that exist within the environmental, natural resources, and conservation fields. Interested schools can select one 2-hour session, morning or afternoon, to attend the expo.
Exhibitors
We want to highlight both technical and professional careers – not just the in-the-field positions but also the administrative, accounting, IT, support, and communications careers that exist within the Green Sector. We will have space available for indoor displays and plenty of outdoor space available for equipment and machinery displays, live demonstrations, and interactive exhibits. If you plan to set up outside, we ask that you please bring your own tables and chairs. We encourage all exhibitors to bring “tools of the trade” to display to students highlighting some of the equipment used in your highlighted career fields.
Exhibitors may include the following fields
- Natural resource management
- Renewable energy
- Environmental science
- Green building
- Wildlife conservation
- Energy efficiency
- Water and air quality
- Sustainable transportation
- Clean manufacturing
- and more!
Learn more about the Green Careers Expo, including a short video of the 2024 event, register as an exhibitor, or register as a school attendee on the Arkansas Forestry Association website.
Registration is open for both schools and exhibitors.
