Project Learning Tree and Project WILD are environmental education programs for anyone who teaches youngsters. They help develop students’ knowledge of the environment and encourage them to care for natural resources.

Participants will receive “Explore Your Environment: K-8 Activity Guide,” which includes 50 hands-on activities to connect children to nature and increase their awareness and knowledge about our
natural world. Project WILD’s curriculum offers 150 hands-on activities to also connect children to nature. Topics include trees, forests, wildlife, water, energy, climate change, community planning, invasive species and more. Teachers and informal educators can easily integrate these activities into their classrooms and educational programs.

This workshop qualifies for six hours of ADE-approved professional development.

Cost: $10 materials fee payable the day of the workshop.
